Loosen the thumb screw on the Flag Tie-Down Clip and slide the Clip accordingly to get just the right tension on the banner. Step 6: Slide the bottom of the Lower Shaft over the Locking Shaft on the Spike Base. Exert pressure downward until secure. 11:56 am	Our Custom Signs Can Withstand the Heat A Bostonian's First Spring Down South, working at a custom signs company! As I sit in TheSignChef offices in Charleston writing this, it's pushing 90 degrees outside. In March. For everyone else that works here, that's fairly normal. But I'm not normal. I'm from New England. This time last year I was still donning wearing mittens on a daily basis and turning my car on 20 minutes before I dared to get in it. Beach weather wasn't even something I let myself think about yet - I was too busy dreaming about the possibility of switching out my triple padded snow suit for a "light" woolen peacoat. But now that I'm living in the south, I've already been to the beach a bunch of times this spring. I've put away the thin sweaters I wore all winter (meaning December and January) and am currently on the hunt for a new bikini. Life is good. In fact, the news this morning said that today, March 22, is set to be a record breaking day in Charleston, heat-wise. It doesn't seem like it to me since Charleston has been hovering near the low 80s for weeks already, but what do I know? It could very well have actually been 65 and my body was too stunned to know the difference. Anything above 50 in March may as well be 80 as far as I'm concerned. The record high for Boston on March 22? 72 degrees in 1948. I can only imagine the wave of euphoria that overtook the city: offices and schools closing down, people stripping in the streets - heck the stifling heat may have even caused some Sox fans to share a beer or two with those damn Yankees fans!
